As an old brand for more than 20 years, Zhenhua Electric mainly operates voltage Regulator, Transformer and Reactor. Today, Zhenhua Xiaobian will first tell us the difference between voltage regulator and transformer
Voltage regulator is a kind of equipment which provides stable output voltage according to the demand of electrical equipment. It can be divided into parameter (resonance) type, auto coupling (transformation ratio) adjustment type, high power compensation type, switch type and so on.
A transformer is a static equipment with two or more windings. In order to transmit electric energy, the AC voltage and current of one system are converted to the voltage and current of another system through electromagnetic induction at the same frequency. Usually these values are different. When the voltage provided by the power grid is different from the additional input voltage of the load equipment, the transformer must be installed.
Voltage regulator and transformer are relative. Transformer is a device to change AC voltage. The main components are primary coil, secondary coil and core (winding machine). In electrical equipment and wireless circuit, transformer is often used as voltage rise and fall, matching impedance, safety barrier, etc. The voltage regulator is composed of voltage regulating circuit, control circuit and servo motor. When the input voltage or load changes, the control circuit samples, compares and expands, and then drives the servo motor to rotate to change the position of the carbon brush of the voltage regulator. After actively adjusting the coil turns ratio, the stability of the output voltage is maintained. The voltage regulator with large capacity also adopts the principle of voltage compensation.
